2022 CSA Information
Community Supported Agriculture
Our CSA is an opportunity for you to become partners with the farmers that grow your food. You can invest in us and Oklahoma's rural farming community by purchasing a season membership to our farm. As a CSA member, you will receive generous weekly deliveries of garden fresh veggies all season. You will know exactly where and how your food was grown. A CSA not only provides you with an intimate connection with your food source, it also provides us farmers with a stable source of income. It wouldn't be as much fun to sell all of our vegetables to a produce warehouse. We would rather bring them to you. Better to be friends with the people that you feed. We hope that you feel the same way.
In addition to weekly garden-fresh produce, all member families are invited to an annual harvest dinner and farm tour (at no extra charge) sometime during the season. You will also have opportunity to bring your family out for other optional farm-work days where you can get your hands dirty along side of us while digging potatoes, picking sweet corn, and other fun projects.
Farm-stand CSA
Our Farm-stand CSA does not receive pre-boxed deliveries like a typical CSA. With a Farm-stand CSA, you have choice and flexibility. All of the vegetables are set out on tables like a farmers market stand and members get to mix, match and choose what they want each week (within certain guidelines). For example, we might have melons, a mound of assorted specialty head lettuce, a variety of bunched greens, along with crates of tomatoes, onions, potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and squash. Members could then take a melon and get to choose something from the lettuce pile, something from the greens stack and 6 lbs of the veggies of their choice from the crates. Other weeks instead of melons, we may have strawberries, blueberries, or a dozen ears of corn set aside for each person. If there is something you don't want or can't eat, you don't have to take it.
Are you single or have a small family and are concerned that a big bag of fresh veggies every week is a little much for you? No worries! You can partner with someone else and split a share. You pick up veggies one week, they pick up veggies the next. Our produce is harvested the morning of delivery so most of it will last in the fridge for a couple of weeks without a problem. We ask customers wanting to take advantage of this arrangement to find your own CSA partner. One of you can sign up and arrange payment. Just let us know in the comments the name of the person you are “sharing a share” with so we can take note of it and have their name on the sign in sheet as well.
Delivery Locations:
Bristow: Tractor Supply parking lot, Thursday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm.
Tulsa: B'nai Emunah Synagogue 1719 South Owasso Avenue, Wednesday evenings from 3:30-4:30 pm.
Beggs: First Baptist Church parking lot, corner of Main and Broadway, Wednesday evenings 5:45-6:15 pm
